A man has just excused his rambunctious nature by likening himself to a lion.
Stating that much like a lion he can not be tamed, the man appears to be completely unaware that lion tamers exist.
The incident occurred during a zoom call wherein the man expressed his views and interrupted others when they attempted to do the same. When told off, he responded with the comparison.
There are certainly similarities between himself and the lion, in that, a lion is an unelected leader of the animal kingdom and this man has forcefully led this conversation to talk about himself. Also he smells like a jungle.
Unfortunately the aspect he has chosen to liken to himself is that of an untamable nature that he supposes lions possess.
Should lions be tamed? Of course not. Its horrible to alter the behaviour of a being that just wants to live as it was meant to. Does it happen? Yes. So his metaphor doesn’t track and he’s a colossal idiot.
This is also far from the first instance of him not knowing how to structure a metaphor. Just last week he described himself as being underneath a rock, which happens to be a hard place.
