Woman found well by email

An email sent by a semi-disgruntled client has managed to find its recipient in a state that can only be described as ‘well’.

This particular email announced at the top that it desperately hoped, nay, needed to find her well. And lo and behold, it did.

In these trying times where every email between irregular confidants has to begin by acknowledging that these are indeed trying times, it is a relieving source of comfort whenever it becomes clear that others are in a well condition even though the times, as stated, they are trying.

The email then proceeded to complain about something the email recipient designed and priced a tad too exorbitantly for the sender’s liking. Though the majority of the email’s body was fairly negative and there was lightly veiled accusations of theft and general dishonour, it ended with another prayer for her safety.

When reached – not via email – the woman in question had this to say.

“They hope this email finds me well? That’s a confusing way to put it. Do they hope that this email carries out the act of finding me in a proper way or are they concerned about my wellbeing and hope that when this email eventually does reach me, I will be well? Either way, I guess the answer is ‘yes’. Their email did reach me at a time when I was in good health, both mentally and physically. Also, their email did find me, so, congratulations to their email for that, I suppose.”

“Also no, I can not provide them a refund. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to send a reply that hopefully is able to find them well.”
