It was suspected for a long time after the official unveiling of the mammoth console. It is absolutely ginormous. Some have suggested it can also be used as a means to ram a door down if necessary. The shell casing is reminiscent of a shield used in wartimes which coincidentally is exactly what the PS5 was initially intended to be. If you ever find yourself needing to get from one ledge to another, you may use your new PS5 as a makeshift bridge. Will it support your weight? Just look at it. Of course.
With the size so large, the noticeable gravitational pull seemed assured.
Critics have claimed this to be a dirty selling tactic. When consumers are in the aisle between the Playstations and the Xboxes, the gravitational force could theoretically pull them away from the latter.
If true, this is a massive scandal. Huge. Much like the PS5 itself.
Questions regarding addiction have also been raised. Its very well having an entertainment console resting on the acres of space you will need to have under your TV, but when it literally pulls you away from work and family, it is very concerning.
