Upon completing the 180th and final episode of Seinfeld, it has come to my attention that at no point did George Costanza get bludgeoned to death. A gross misstep on the showrunner’s part.
I understand that there needs to be some degree to which we suspend our disbelief. But I already accepted that Kramer could afford to live in a nice New York apartment without proper employment. What I will not stand by is that George Costanza did not at any point get murdered. The man faked a handicap just to get a job. Scum of the Earth. Shockingly, not one person thought, ‘I should shove this clown down the stairs?’ Ridiculous.
Let’s not forget that George Costanza murdered his fiancée. Yes, it was inadvertent, but it was a direct result of his selfish and miserly ways. You mean to tell me not one member of her family decided to put a machete in his head? That is unbelievable.
180 episodes. 20 minutes per episode. 3600 minutes. So many opportunities to do what is right and wipe out this stain of a human being and none were taken.
Never murdered. Remarkable.
The man pretended to be a white supremacist to get a limo ride.
The only acceptable outcome for this man would be if he were murdered, resurrected, and then murdered a couple more times.
Yet by the end of Seinfeld’s 11-year run, the George Costanza murder count remained ZERO.
