Man bragging about playing shortest ever game of chess has yet to mention whether he won or not.

The shortest game of chess ever. A record has been made. Win or lose, one man has etched his name into the pantheons of history. An icon in his field. Forever to be known as one of the foremost players of the game.

But did he actually win? He hasn’t made it clear as yet.

Seems an important detail to leave out.  All his wording till now has left out any mention of a distinct victor, despite this game in particular having an even more definite than usual winner and loser. Probably the winniest and losiest game of all time.

“I played the shortest ever game of chess. I am a part of history. Books will be written about me,” is what he was later reported to have said.

Are these good books? Or are they the rude type throwing around phrases like “get a load of this loser,” “A colossal failure,” “No one has ever failed as fast as this man.”

Will we ever know for sure? He seems adamant not to make a direct statement.

Can his refusal to claim victory be taken to mean that he got his ass handed to him in a historically embarassing way?

Yeah, no doubt.

He is on record having in the past said the famous phrase, “it’s an honour just to be nominated.” He definitely lost.
