What makes art beautiful? Is it witnessing the inner workings of a person’s mind being laid out in imagery? Or perhaps it is the presentation of real-world struggle? Or maybe, it’s just seeing Jared Leto getting his shit kicked in?
Before you feel too bad about that, do a quick search of ‘Jared Leto allegations.’
Fight Club – 10/10

Edward Norton and/or Brad Pitt pummels them to the point of being nearly unrecognisable. No notes.
Requiem for a Dream – 4/10

Over the top. Far too emotionally effective to appreciate. At this moment I do not see the cult leader and alleged abuser Jared Leto getting hurt. I see a suffering addict losing a limb.
American Psycho – 10/10

An axe to the head. This is how every Batman movie should end.
Morbius – 1/10

It starts off promising. In the beginning, he appears sickly with seemingly just moments of life left in him. Things take a turn when he gets bat powers which give him abs?? Ridiculous. You ever seen a bat do crunches?
Blade Runner 2049 – ?/10

Jared Leto plays a narcissistic messianic figure, much like Jared Leto. He is unsettling and then the movie continues without him. What happens to them? Did someone off-screen punch him in the face? We will never know.
Suicide Squad – 4/10

We were baited by a helicopter explosion death. They lied to us. He somehow emerges from the wreckage to make a late reappearance, much to no one’s delight.
Mr. Nobody – 6/10

While he does not get physically damaged, he does live multiple unfulfilling lives, which is nice to see.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League – 0/10

They provided the audience with a massive Batman and a sickly Jared Joker. The big Batman does not stomp on him. This remains one of cinema’s biggest missed opportunities.
House of Gucci – 6/10

Paolo dies in poverty which is bad enough, but just look at him. Look at what Ridley Scott did to him. This would have been enough.
